A high-rise unit is a portable toilet built to be lifted by crane or hoist and set on the deck being worked, so crews stop riding the hoist down 20 floors. Companies in Miami, Tampa and Orlando carry them; they are serviced by pumping on the deck or swapping units by crane.
OSHA 1926.51 counts units by workers, and the mobile-crew exemption needs transportation readily available to a toilet. A tower deck 20 floors up with one hoist does not qualify; put units on the deck.
Priced by the company per lift and per service; not on public price lists. The quote form has a high-rise tick box and the companies that carry them answer.
Not safely. High-rise units have lift points and a sealed tank.
A pump hose from a truck for lower floors, or a swap by crane for higher decks.
